Yup, I’m making theses! Thai-flavored rice pudding is frozen into creamy ice pops. Dried apricots add subtle color and a satisfyingly chewy texture.

I really enjoyed Amanda Peet’s home in the June 2012 issue of Vogue. The breakfast nook is something I would definitely like to translate by my kitchen’s bay windows… maybe with a custom built in seating, so we wouldn’t have to adjust the window frames. Overall the house is just beautifully well done and the moments of feminine colors speak volumes to me.

Creating mood boards for clients is one of my favorite aspects of my job. Each is so personal and unique; given that it is tailored to the client’s vision. This client loves the rich textural and ruggedness of Colorado, but wanted a softer version to have it remain feminine. I think this client is headed in the right direction by marrying the idea of having both masculine and feminine details for the space. I’m excited to play with layers, textures, and colors.
